Can I just talk about something for one minute? So I've been here (as of tomorrow) for 4 weeks. [Woah.] POR FIN, this week I: received my package of film from "freestyle photo" which contains two 400 tx b/w, one 400 tmax b/w, one 3200 tmax b/w, one 160 portra color, and one 400 portra color. Phew. In the meantime I bought some film from the local camera store and JUST picked it up today (it takes one week to develop). And FINALLY yesterday I picked up my package that had my 50mm 1.8 lens. I have not taken a digital photo for about 5 weeks. HOLY COW. I love film, and I have enjoyed using it these past weeks but I can not tell you how good it felt to go out last night in the streets during the Europa cup final with hundreds of crazy fans and shoot at 8 frames per second, switching my iso as I please and as many in a row like its no big thing. I didn't realize how much I missed not only the free-ness of the my digital but the excitement of event photography along with it. (I missed my baby)
SO NOW. I am finally all set to go. Camera-wise, picture-wise, heart-healthy-wise.
